John Simper - Taddiford Gap - 11/01/09
A friend and I went to see what we could find at the Taddiford gap near Milford-on-Sea. A large number of bivaves and other shells were present although nearly all were extremely brittle. I had a look in the crocodile beds but nothing was found there. After about 20 minutes I found a good very large piece of Trionyx turtle carapace. Then we left to go to the more productive area at Barton-on Sea which only a short drive away.
